PUMPKIN PIE   

1 egg    

¾ cup sugar

1 tablespoon flour 

½ teaspoon salt  

½ teaspoon cinnamon 

¼ teaspoon nutmeg 

¼ teaspoon ginger

1-1/2 cups steamed pumpkin

2 tablespoons molasses

5/8 cup pet milk diluted with 5/8 cup water

Beat egg thoroughly; add sugar mixed with flour, salt and spices.

Then add pumpkin, molasses and diluted milk. Stir until well blended.

Line a deep pie pan with pastry. Pour in mixture and bake in a hot oven

450 F. for 10 minutes, reduce to 325 F. and bake 30 minutes longer until

pumpkin is firm. Makes: 1 - 9 inch pie.
